Penderyn Whiskey & Brecon Beacons National Park

Welcome! Here's your chance to see Wales.

Ο  Welsh Whisky & the Brecon Beacons National Park: The REAL Taste of Wales

On this experience of Wales a taste of the good life is guaranteed. From the coast to the mountains, your route will take you up to the Brecon Beacons National Park with two outstanding visits to get your taste buds tingling.

The Welsh Whisky Centre is at the foothills of the national park and it'll be where you’ll find a small village with liquid gold flowing from a special place, whisky style. Penderyn, an exceptional Welsh single malt, is also the name of this quaint place and your distillery tour in this distillery will allow you to discover (and tasting!) one of the country’s proudest exports. You’ll find Brecon Gin, Brecon Five Vodka and Merlyn Cream Liqueur delighting your senses too.

The uplands of South Wales are dominated by a mountain range now called the Brecon Beacons National Park and so we continue our journey as the setting sun silhouettes the hills and you’ll soak in the scenery of a land torn by glaciers and now nibbled by sheep.

Delight in this drive as you’ll need time to prepare for a masterchef night of Welsh food and drink at a celebrated restaurant, Pen-Y-Cae, nestled in a valley of green, green grass.
