The reservation made for you constitutes a binding legal agreement between you, those who travel with you [‘the Customer’] and SeeWales [‘the Company’].
SeeWales accepts your booking under the following terms and conditions:
1. Reservations must be confirmed by SeeWales by telephone or email. When a SeeWales reservation number is issued this will constitute a confirmation of the reservation.
2. Valid credit or debit card details for the total cost of the reservation must be given to SeeWales at time of booking. Payment will be taken promptly thereafter. Exceptions to this are:
2a. Full payment can be deferred, upon written or verbal request, within 24hrs of receiving confirmation. But only if the reservation is for tour(s) in advance of 14 days from the time of booking. In such cases a 10% non-refundable payment will be taken immediately with the remaining amount taken within 14 days of the first tour date.
2b. Cash payments are accepted. Although valid credit or debit card details must be given at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Cash payments (GBP) will be accepted by the SeeWales representative on the departure of the first tour.
3. The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour at its own discretion. In such cases the limit of the Company's liability to the Customer is the return of all monies paid.
4. Where the Customer cancels a reservation the effective date of cancellation will be the date the Company receives written or verbal notification. In the event of a cancellation a charge shall be payable by the Customer, as detailed below.
4a. For a cancellation received more than 5 days before first tour departure - 10% charge.
4b. For a cancellation received less than 5 days but more than 13 hours before the first tour departure – 50% charge.
4c. For a cancellation received less than 13 hours before the tour departure - 100% charge, no refund.
5. For any 'no shows' where the Customer or any of the Customers' party does not show up for departure, a 100% charge will apply.
6. While the Company will do everything reasonably possible to provide the tour itinerary as planned, the Company reserves the right to cancel the tour, alter itineraries, change transport type for whatever reason. Where the Company cancels a tour the limit of the Company's liability to the Customer is the return of all monies paid.
7. The Company reserves the right to refuse passage to any person, at the commencement and during the tour, whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to other passengers during the tour.
8. The Company will not accept or have any liability for any acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise, of any supplier or person providing services in connection with any tour unless such a person is employed by or under the direct control of the Company.
9. The consumption or carry of any illegal drugs (as by UK law) or consumption of alcohol to excess by the Customer will not be tolerated and will result in the possible abandonment from the tour. The Company will have no responsibility for compensation or liability thereafter.
10. Luggage space is limited to one carry-on bag per person. All luggage and personal items are carried free of charge but at the passenger's own risk. Any passenger who has more than a small carry-on bag must check with the Company at least 3 days before departure to check if space is available.
11. The Company strongly recommends that the Customer arrange suitable travel, luggage, medical and cancellation insurance to cover all tour dates.
12. Smoking is not permitted on any SeeWales vehicle.
13. Force Majeure: The Company does not accept any liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war, riot or civil commotion, terrorist or criminal activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fires, sickness, weather conditions, road or traffic conditions, temporary technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within booked accommodation or transport, explosion of, or radioactive contamination from, any nuclear facility or other events beyond the control of the Company.
14. Jurisdiction: These conditions shall be construed and interpreted in accordance within the Law of England and Wales. The Parties and representatives of the respective Parties each submit to the jurisdiction of the relevant Courts.
